Transfering Google Data

Graduates, your @viking.k12.hi.us account will be deleted in the December of your graduating year, that gives you plenty of time before and after graduation to transfer your data to another account.

 

There are two ways to do this, the easiest is to transfer all emails and drive documents from your viking account to a personal gmail account. Click this link to get started: https://takeout.google.com/transfer

 

Transferring is limited only to documents in your Google Drive and Gmail.

 

However, if you have used Google Sites, Classrooms, Photos, etc. you may also want to download an archive of your content. Keep in mind, it does not transfer ownership of documents, so once your account is deleted, the original Google Drive documents and emails will be deleted forever instead of being on a personal account. Please change your email address on every site that you use before the cutoff date.
