Advanced Guidance: This semester program will provide current Hilo High students with the opportunity to complete their Personal Transition Plan and prepare for post high opportunity by completing college and scholarship essays. The program also covers financial literacy, digital citizenship and career ready soft skills. ½ elective credit (Students may only take one session)
Session 1: June 3 - June 24, 8:00 - 12:00 daily (ONLY IN-PERSON INSTRUCTION)
Session 2: June 25 - July 16, 8:00 - 12:00 daily (ONLY VIRTUAL INSTRUCTION)

Modern History of Hawaii Credit Recovery (Not for credit advancement).
This course examines the technological and multi-cultural development of modern Hawaii and how the decisions of the past account for and impact present circumstances. This course
examines contemporary Hawaii, engages students in in-depth historical inquiry focusing on the historic, geographic, socio-political, and economic structures in the context of the complex
interactions and interrelationships that have shaped and continue to influence major decisions facing Hawaii. Students will use the tools and methods of social scientists to conduct their inquiry
and study. 1/2 credit (Students may take only one session.)
Session 1: June 3 - June 24, 8:00 - 12:00 daily
Session 2: June 25 - July 16, 8:00 - 12:00 daily

Pathway Explorations: This course is designed to introduce the student to career pathway explorations, self-assessment, registration and course planning, finance, post secondary planning and setting personal and
career goals. In addition, further emphasis is placed on the implementation of the student’s personal/transition plan. 1/2 elective credit.
June 3 - June 24, 8:00 - 12:00 daily

10th Grade Bridge: This semester program will provide incoming 10th grade students with information about Hilo High School, rules, policies, and procedures. In addition, students will have the opportunity to acquire study skills, computer skills which will help them to do well as a high school student, and will review some basic math and English skills. ½ elective credit (Per Session - Students may only take one session)
Session 1: June 3 - June 17, 8:00 - 2:00 daily
Session 2: June 18 - July 1, 8:00 - 2:00 daily

Virtual Credit Recovery (Acellus): Various Subjects offered. You will be asked to list the course you need to make up. If you sign up for this, a counselor will be in contact with you. All courses need to be completed by June 28, 2021. Course Offerings:
