Distance Learning and Packet Pick Ups | 04/04/2020 Message to Parents

Aloha Hilo High School Families,

Our hopes are that you all are healthy and safe in this challenging time.

We started this week with the online platform and will be doing the hard copy packet pick-ups next week.

Thank you for participating in our survey and for being patient with us as we prepare the packets to be picked up.  Our first packet pick-up day will be Wednesday, April 8th, from 8 through 10:30am, and from 2:00-4:30pm.

Due to the amount of packets we are creating, we are asking that you come on Wednesday only if you received an automated phone message from our office, indicating that packets are available for pickup.

Please check our website for more information.

As a reminder, Waiakea High School will continue to offer Grab-and-Go meal pickups on weekdays.  Breakfast is offered from 7:30-8:00am and lunch is available from 11:30am-12:00pm. We are excited to share that beginning Monday, April 6th, Hilo Union and Kalanianaole Schools will also be serving Grab and Go Meals at the same times.  These meals are free for anyone 18 years old and younger. The eligible child must be present at the time of pickup to receive a meal.

Thank you all for continuing to monitor the news, maintain social distancing, and stay safe!

Aloha.
