Yearbook Picture Taking Day

The yearbook picture taking date is coming! On December 5th we invite our Viking students to come to campus and take their portrait for the yearbook. Times for each grade level is as follows: Freshmen from 9-11am, Sophomores 11:30-1:30pm, and Juniors 2-4pm. Please go to Reed Takaaze's website to order photo packages @ reedtaka.com. Visit the Hilo High website for full instructions for Picture Day. Please show your Viking pride and participate! Mahalo!


Loyalty and Honor Mask Sale

Class of 2021 Service Project

Hey Seniors! This weekend, November 7th and 8th, your class will be having a donation drop off for your class Service Project, "Christmas Care Package". Donations will be accepted at the new gym from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm each day to collect donations of masks and hand sanitizers. All donations will be put together and donated to the less fortunate in the community through Hope Services. Please donate and make a difference for those in need this Holiday season.


Leo Club Meeting

Attention all Leos! There will be a mandatory meeting this Friday, November 6, during lunch (12:50 pm). See our google classroom for the Zoom link. 


Bezos Scholars Program 

Juniors! The Bezos Scholars Program applications are now open online!  The Bezos Scholars Program is a yearlong leadership program that begins with a Summer 2021 Conference in Aspen, Colorado, and continues throughout your senior year to support you as you apply for colleges and scholarships.  Participation in the program also earns you $1,000 in funding to launch a Community Change Project in our hometown!  Interested applicants should email Mrs. Kellie Frias for application information.


Free College Course

This FREE college course offer is open to all 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students.  The Pacific & Asian Affairs Council is teaming up with UH Hilo to offer a course covering the challenges of sustainability in Hawaii, and the rest of the world.  This course will run from January through May, and participants could earn 3 college credits FOR FREE! If you’re interested  please email Mrs. Kellie Frias for application information.
