Yearbook Picture Taking Day
Hey Vikings! Just a reminder that this Saturday, December 5th, is Picture Taking Day on campus! Times for each grade level is as follows: Freshmen from 9-11am, Sophomores 11:30-1:30pm, and Juniors 2-4pm. Please go to Reed Takaaze's website to order photo packages at reedtaka.com. Visit the Hilo High website for drive-through instructions for Picture Day. Please show your Viking pride and participate!
Student Feedback Panorama Survey
Vikings! As a reminder, please take the Panorama Survey. Your experiences and opinions are an essential part of making our school the best place it can be. To find the full instructions and to take the survey, go to the Hilo High website and click on “Panorama Survey” under the Students Tab. If students do not take the survey, students will need to take the survey during Period 1 at a later date.
Christmas Cookie Challenge
Let’s kick off this special month with a hero point opportunity, a Christmas Cookie Challenge! December 4th is National Cookie Day and we want all of you to bake your favorite batch of cookies to celebrate the holiday season. Make sure to take a picture of your cookies and send it to the Hilo High School Student Association gmail account in order to get 15 hero points. Happy baking and happy holidays

Young at Art
Attention Viking Artists! Submissions are open for the 33rd Annual Young At Art Juried Exhibition. The theme for this year's show is "Community". Accepted works will be featured downtown at the East Hawai'i Cultural Center Exhibition in March. Please contact Ms. Z for submission guidelines. Deadline is Feb. 20th.
ASVAB Testing
Attention Class of 2021 and Class of 2022! The second ASVAB will be administered on Monday, December 7 @ Learning Resource Center (Hilo High School Library). If you are interested in taking the ASVAB please email Ms. Taniguchi at [email protected] to reserve your spot. Due to COVID-19 there are limited available spots so sign up now.
*Face masks will be required to be worn at all times when testing. Failure to comply with COVID-19 safety rules will result in removal from the test room and inability to complete the test.

Pickup times are from 12:40pm to 1:20pm.
