04/23/2021 KVIKS TV Morning Bulletin

Aloha Vikings! This is your K-V-I-K-S Morning Bulletin. My name is Braysha and here are your announcements for Friday, April 23rd, 2021. Today’s schedule is 1-3-5-7

HAPPY NATIONAL LEADERSHIP WEEK. Student leaders are in charge of planning activities, events, and ensuring that the students have an excellent year. This year was a challenge for our student leaders because of all of the obstacles they needed to overcome. Despite that, they were able to pull off a phenomenal year filled with engaging activities for the students. We would like to extend a huge mahalo to our incoming and outgoing student leaders here at Hilo High School for their selfless service and contagious school spirit.

Hey, Seniors!  You have 4 weeks left in your high school careers - are you ready for the next steps toward your future?  Sign up for Hawaii P-20's Next Steps to Your Future Summer Programs! You can receive free college advising over the summer to finalize your college admission and enrollment.  You can take free college classes over the summer to begin earning college credits.  And, by participating in either of these programs, you can be eligible to apply for thousands of dollars in scholarships that are only available to the students who participate.  Please see the flyer Mrs. Frias emailed to you for easy information on how to sign up.  Email Mrs. Frias at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Also, If your post high school plans call for a final transcript, now is the time to order it. The request form can be found on the Hilo High School website or may be picked up at the main office. Please note that we are unable to send electronic transcripts during the summer. Final transcripts will be processed during the week of June 21st. If you are not 18 years old, please make sure your parent or guardian signs the form. Once completed, you may either mail it in to the Registrar's Office or make an appointment to drop it off.

KVIKS Will be back after these messages.

Not only are they looking for new members to sign-up and for current members to deposit or withdraw money, but they are also looking for two underclassmen who are interested in working as a student Credit Union teller.  If you are thinking about a career in business or finance please email Mrs. Masuhara at [email protected] for more information and an application.
