Dear Parent(s) & Guardian(s) of Bus Riders on Honomu, and Pepeekeo Area Routes - (TR22/TR24):
We have been made aware that the following bus routes will be suspended effective Monday, September 13, 2021, due to bus driver shortages:
TR22:A - Mamalahoa Hwy/Honomu/Akaka Falls/Stable Camp
TR24:A - Hwy19/Chin Chuck/Old Mamalahoa Hwy/Kumula St/Kaakepa
School buses in these areas will not be operating for both morning and afternoon trips for students of Hilo High School. Alternate transportation arrangements will need to be made for your child(ren).
