The Pride Empowerment Club will have its first meeting on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022, during lunch recess in A-28. This club meets once a month and provides a safe place for LGBTQIA+ and their friends and allies. Everyone is welcome at all meetings, at any time throughout the school year. At this meeting we’ll be planning some fun events and service projects for the year including marching in the downtown Hilo Pride Parade in June! We need your awesome ideas and support! Let’s stand united and celebrate our diverse and vibrant LGBTQIA+ community here at Hilo High!
