Winter Spirit Week
Happy Holidays Vikings!! Next week we will be holding our Winter Spirit Week from Monday, December 12th till Friday, December 16th. Each day, you can participate by dressing up in exchange for 10 HERO points. On Monday, it is Pajama Monday so dress up in your best holiday pajamas. Tuesday is Santa Tuesday, wear your best Santa costume. Wednesday is warm-sock Wednesday, where you wear your fluffiest holiday socks. Thursday is festive Thursday, dress up in red, green or white. Finally on Friday is flannel Friday where we wear our flannels. We can't wait to see you all be spirit for the holidays!
Homecoming Court
Are you ready for our homecoming season? Be excited and join us to celebrate the Hilo high school’s homecoming with this year’s theme of “Once Upon A Time At Hilo High” If you are interested in running for our Homecoming Court, you can pick up an application form from Mrs. Masuhara in room A-16. The application forms are due next week Monday, December 12, 2022. And due to the change of plans, the homecoming week will be moved to February 6 to 10, 2023. We can't wait to share with you this magical season!

Viking Band Booster Club
Hey Vikings! The Viking Band Booster Club is having another fundraiser! If you're a fan of Panda Express, then you should order food tomorrow on December 9th, 2022 from 10AM to 8PM at the Panda Express located on Kilauea Avenue. To show your support for the band, you can either enter in 342818 in the fundraiser code box in their website, or you can show the register your phone showing this message. We hope you'll support our band!
Guitar Class
Vikings, come to the Auditorium, on December 14 at lunch time to hear the guitar students play a recital, featuring a variety of music and styles!

To the class of 2024, are any of you thinking about going to college in the mainland? Would you like to experience what life would be like in another state? Well, GEAR UP is offering you an opportunity to find out. GEAR UP would like to take 10 students from the class of 2024 to both Washington and Oregon to visit college campuses during the summer of 2023.
The trip is FREE, aside from your luggage fees and spending money.
To go on this trip all you have to do is complete the application process. If you want to know more, or want to pick up an application packet see Mr. Rosas in B-35. You won't want to miss out on this opportunity!

Hey class of 2024 juniors!
It's coming to that time of the year, JUNIOR PROM! Save the date, junior prom will be held on March 25th, 2023 at the Arc of Hilo. The theme of prom will be Enchanted forest. Your obligations must be paid prior to picking up a packet. Check outside room R13 Mr. Yamamoto's room starting Monday - Dec.5 if you are eligible to pick up a packet. Let's make this prom an enchanted one!
