National Honors Society
Attention NHS Members!
We will be having a general meeting TODAY, March 20, 2023 during lunch in Mr. Yamamotoʻs room, R13. Please come to sign up for upcoming projects for Quarter 4. See you all there!
Junior Days
Hey juniors! As junior days approach, we are inviting you and your team to join us in our kickball tournament. This tournament will be held on the week of March 22nd through the 24th. We are accepting up to 8 teams, in which each team can have up to 6 players. All teams must have at least 2 females. Teams are a first come first serve basis. To sign up please come to room R-13, MR. Yamamotos, during lunch recess TODAY, March 20th to sign, you and your team up. All members of the team must be juniors only. See you all on the field!
Junior Prom
Attention Junior Prom Attendees!
Junior Prom is THIS Saturday March 25 @ the Arc of Hilo, the doors open at 5:00 pm and close at 5:30pm!
Bid Pick Up & Seat Selection Begins TODAY, March 20 outside of Room R13, Mr. Yamamotoʻs class during LUNCH ONLY! Last day to pick up bids and select seats will be Thursday, March 23rd. Attendees MUST be present in order to select seats and pick up your bid - your friends cannot choose for you. If you are a guest attending junior prom, you must come with your accompanying junior to select your seat. Seats are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please bring your ID to pick up your bid. If you have any questions, please see Kumu Kaipo in Rm. R21 during Recess/Lunch ONLY.

Hilo Hawaiian Hotel Internship
Aloha, Vikings! Hilo High School has the opportunity to send ONE student to participate in a 2 and a half month PAID Internship with Hilo Hawaiian Hotel this year. The internship will run from April 10th through the end of June. Please see Mrs. Frias in N-103 this week if you have any questions or are interested in applying. We have never had this opportunity with Hilo Hawaiian Hotel before, so I hope we get lots of applicants!

Hey Vikings! If you are interested in running for a student association or class council office, please come to room A-16 during recess and lunch this week, to pick up an election application packet. Hey Seniors! Graduation is almost here! So if you are eligible for the Hilo High Service Awards, Viking Award, and Honor pin award, come to room A-16 to sign up for the application process. You can only sign up till March 10, 2023, and the application forms are due on March 22, 2023. These awards will be proudly showcased during the graduation ceremony.
