Traffic Safety
On March 25th, Hilo High students attended the Operation Driver Excellence and Traffic Safety Fair. During the awards ceremony for the Hawaii State student safety program, our school received third place in the state for our excellence in promoting teen traffic safety and health here at our school and out at our community. Congratulations Hilo High!
Sophomore Days
Hey Sophomores! Today’s theme is class colors day! Wear your class t-shirt or class colors (white and gold). Come join us today during lunch at the Old Gym for some fun activities. See you there!
Youth Membership Month
Hey Vikings! It's Youth Membership Month, and the Student Credit Union has an exciting promotion with Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union. ASVAB
All 10th-12th graders, the last ASVAB administration for this school year will be on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.
The test will be administered in C-215 and will start promptly at 8:10 AM. If you are planning on joining the military post-high school, you will need to take the ASVAB.

Due to COVID-19, the number of test-takers per session has been reduced to 30.
C-215 will be closed all morning on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 to accommodate the test.
