TODAY AT HILO HIGH SCHOOL
Huʻi Hawaiʻi Meeting Today (12/6/2023)
There is a mandatory meeting today in K-101 during Lunch Recess for Hawaiian Club members. You will be discussing your Fundraiser booth for this Saturday and passing out your Hui Hawaiʻi T Shirts! Grab your lunch and come straight to the meeting.
Winter Ball Seat Selection (12/5 - 12/6/2023)
If you are attending winter ball, you will be receiving a note that tells you when to select your seat and receive your bid. This will occur during Period 1 or 2 this week. If you are unable to come on your assigned day, you can come on any later day. You are encouraged to come and pick a table. If you miss out on this opportunity, a table will be assigned to you.

Performing Arts Learning Center Fall Showcase (12/6 - 12/8/2023)
1: Save the Date Vikings! The Performing Arts Learning Center, also known as PALC, has been preparing for an exciting performance for you all!
2: This weekend, on December 8th and 9th, you are all invited to watch incredible performances and unforgettable moments. 1: The show starts at 7 PM at the Hilo High School Auditorium.
2: Tickets will be sold at the door for $5.

Workshops for Seal of Biliteracy Candidates (12/7 - 12/11, 2023)
This week and on Monday, there will be workshops focusing on Test-Taking Tips for Seal of Biliteracy Candidates! These workshops will take place in room P-3, Shehata Sensei's room. During the workshop, Shehata Sensei will guide you through the sample test and share valuable test-taking tips tailored to your language assessment.
Here's the schedule for each language session:
Session 1: THURSDAY, Dec 7th - Hawaiian, Chuukese, Ilokano, Marshallese, Samoan, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.
Session 2: FRIDAY, Dec 8th - Japanese, Spanish, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Russian.
Session 3: MONDAY, Dec 11th - Tongan, Yapese, Thai, and all other languages.
If you have any questions or need further clarification, please don't hesitate to reach out to Shehata Sensei in room P-3.

Clash Royale Tournament Sign Ups Extended (12/5 - 12/8/2023)

Viking Sports News (12/5 - 12/6/2023)
This is Viking Sports News. On Monday, the Boys Basketball Team played against the Konawaena Wildcats in their opening match of the season. Also on Monday, the Girls Basketball Team played against the Honokaa Dragons. On Tuesday, the Girls and Boys Soccer teams will be playing against Honokaa, girls starting at 2 PM with Boys to follow around 4 PM. On Thursday, December 7th, Girls Basketball has a home game versus the Keaʻau Cougars. JV at 5:30 PM with Varsity to follow. On Friday, the Boys Basketball team is going against the Kealakehe Waveriders, JV at 5:30 PM with Varsity to follow. Finally, on Saturday, the Girls and Boys Soccer teams play at Hawaii Preparatory Academy, starting at 2 PM. Swimming and Diving will be at Kamehameha Schools Hawaii and Canoe Paddling in Kailua Kona.
