KVIKS Media General Meeting Today (1/11/2024)
All KVIKS Media members, please report to C-117 during lunch for our general meeting. If you already received your wellness check, you do not have to attend.
Track and Field Sign Ups (1/9/24-1/12/24)
Anyone interested in track and field, there is a sign up meeting TODAY after school and an additional meeting during lunch recess on Friday, January 12 at the pool area.
WHAT’S NEW VIKINGS?
May Day Court (1/11/24-1/19/24)
If you are interested in being on the May Day Court, please come and pick up an application starting today to January 19, 2024 from room K101 Kumu Awa, LRC Mr. Fernandez, R20 Kumu Heather, B42 Ms. Hoota. Applications are due on January 26, 2024.

Senior Prom (1/10/24-1/17/24)
Senior Prom will be on March 2, 2024 @ Nani Mau Gardens.
Seniors interested in attending Senior Prom should check that they are all cleared of all financial obligations prior to picking up their packet outside of Room R-13. If your name is on the list, you are cleared. If your name is NOT on the list, please see Mrs. Hoota in the front office to clear all obligations.
Seniors inviting guests of Hilo High School (grades 9-11), please make sure they are also cleared of all financial obligations. If you are planning to bring a guest from another school, they must be enrolled in grades 9-12 and show proof of age/current school attendance.
Packet Distribution will be on January 17 - 24, 2024 outside of Room, R-13.

Youth Art Exhibition (1/10/24-1/26/24)
Submissions for the East Hawai'i Cultural Center Youth Art Exhibition are due by January 27th. All mediums are welcome & there is no theme this year. Please see Ms. Z in L-4 for submission guidance.
ASVAB Testing (1/10/24-1/29/24)
All 10th-12th graders, the next ASVAB administration is on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024. The test will be administered in C-217 and will start promptly at 8:10 AM. If you are planning on joining the military post-high school, you will need to take the ASVAB.

Due to COVID-19, the number of test-takers per session have been reduced to 30.
C-217 will be closed all morning on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024 to accommodate the test.

The Hilo High Student Credit Union will be open for DEPOSIT ONLY at room A-16 starting this Monday, January 8th during lunch time! Be sure to stop by!

Boys and Girls Tennis Sign-Ups (1/9 - 1/26/2024)
Are you interested in trying out for Boys and Girls Tennis? See Coach Leanne in F-Building during recess or lunch to sign up and get information about practices going on. Try-outs will be from Monday February 12 through Wednesday, February 14, 2024. Physicals need to be turned in before then in order to try out and are also good for 1 year from appointment.
