Student Credit Union Financial Tips (1/19/23-1/19/23)

Hey Vikings! The Student Credit Union is BACK to start the new year off with some helpful financial tips! TODAY, we want to talk about SAVING MONEY! A great way to save money while you’re in high school is with a part-time job! If you have the time in your schedule, getting a part-time job can be a great way to make extra money to save. If you want to make sure you always have some money saved, make sure to not spend money like your allowance or birthday right away, and make sure you save some for later! Another helpful tip is to track your spending by portioning your money into savings, money for your NEEDS, and money for your WANTS.

If you want to take charge of your finances as a teenager, the Student Credit Union is OPEN in front of room A-16 at recess. We have a big year in store for the credit union, so come by to learn more or join our team!
