Hilo's JROTC Cadets traveled to the island of Kaua`i for the Annual Menehune Adventure Challenge held on the 22-24 March 2024. Cadets participated in a hot sunny morning 2-mile Beach Run.They also did a grueling Paddling Competition, a rough and tough Obstacle Course, exhausting Physical Fitness Training Test, a difficult Spider and Rope Bridge, plus a challenging 200-meter swim.Cadets said it was a memorable but challenging experience. We are so proud of them.
