Construction and Civil Engineering Scholarship Opportunity (4/9/24-4/11/24)
If you are interested in going to college for Construction or Civil Engineering, please join us TODAY, April 11th during pd 5 at 12 noon to learn more about a scholarship specific to those fields. Even if you are not a senior yet, come to learn about the scholarship so you can plan ahead for your senior year! Come to N-103 to sign up and pick up a pass to attend.

May Day Court Support Meeting (4/10/24 - 4/12/24)
Aloha! Calling the May Day Court Supports, which are the conch shell blowers, kahili bearers, pūloʻuloʻu holder and the chanter. There will be a meeting TOMORROW, April 12th during lunch recess in K101-Kumu ʻAwaʻs room. Please make sure that you are present as she will be giving you important details for your kuleana in the upcoming May Day on May 17th. Please be on time! Mahalo.
Hilo High Tamba Surf Design Contest (4/10/24-4/12/24)
Ms. Z's Drawing & Painting class is participating in a design contest with Tamba Surf Company. Head to @tambasurf on instagram to vote for your favorite design. The design winner will be announced next week. Good luck Vikings!

Credit Union Youth Month (4/2/24-4/12/24)
It's Credit Union Youth Month at the Hawai'i Community Federal Credit Union! From now until April 12, 2024, if YOU create a Student Credit Union Account OR deposit $50 if you're already a member, you'll receive a surprise gift from the Hawai'i Community Federal Credit Union! Don't know how to join? Instructions are posted outside of room A-16 and on the Hilo High Instagram! As always, our Student Credit Union is open everyday during lunch in front of A-16, so stop by to create your account or deposit money.
College Fair (4/5/24-4/12/24)
Are you interested in learning more about different colleges and universities around Hawaii, the mainland, and even other countries? Well you're in luck! We are able to take 90 students in grades 9-11 to a College Fair on Wednesday, April 17th. See Mrs. Frias or Ms. Lawrence in N-103 to pick up a field trip form. Remember that returning your completed form gets you a seat on the bus, so get your form ASAP. Hope to see you there!
