Pride Empowerment Club

Pride Empowerment Club will work with a national organization that includes social support and activities for its members by providing a place to connect with each other, working to create safe places and to talk about issues and taking leadership roles in improving our school climate by raising awareness and changing practices in our school. 

 

HHS PRIDE EMPOWERMENT CLUB is Hilo High School's GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) that provides an atmosphere of love and acceptance for ALL individuals,  regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. 

WHO should join: ALL students, faculty, and staff are welcome to our meetings and events, throughout the year. 

WHY it’s important: It’s a SAFE SPACE on campus, emotionally and physically, for LGBTQIA+ and Allies.  

Club activities on campus and in the community promote safety, awareness, understanding, kindness and aloha for ALL!
