Class Office Elections

Hey Vikings! Are you interested in running for a class or student association office? Come to our Candidate Training Conference on March 26 at the HHS Patio from 1:30-3:30 p.m. This training conference is to inform you about the responsibilities of each officer position, and election packets will be passed out at this time! It is mandatory for all candidates to attend; however, if you are unable to make it please see Mrs. Masuhara in A16. RSVP by March 15th by registering and at A-16. Thank you and we hope to see you all there.


New Class Offered Next Year

Are you interested in becoming a teacher? Have you taken the Public & Human Services Pathway Core? If you said yes to these two questions, then maybe the new Explorations in Education class is for you. If you would like to sign up for this course, see your counselor or Mrs. Mitsuda at the Registrar's Office.




Opportunities for Sophomores and Juniors

Attention Sophomores and Juniors!  Two summer programs are accepting applications from you NOW!


Sophomores - the YMCA College Camp is scheduled for June 1-8th this year on Oahu.  Participants will experience dorm life, engage in service projects, activities, workshops, and college visits FOR FREE!   Deadline to apply is April 19, 2019. Come to A-1 for more information.


Junior Girls - the American Legion Auxiliary Hawaii is currently seeking females that are juniors in high school to apply for limited spots in an extremely prestigious youth leadership program.  Participants will learn the significance and practical application of a civics education through leadership development and consensus building. This program is highly regarded by colleges, universities, military schools and jobs nationwide.  The State Conference will be held this summer from June 9-11 at Hawaii Pacific University Aloha Tower Campus. Deadline to apply is March 31, 2019. Come to A-1 for more information.

Cal Poly University Visitation

Cal Poly is a nationally ranked, four-year, comprehensive public university located in San Luis Obispo, halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles on California's Central Coast.  It is a distinctive learning community offering academically focused students a hands-on educational experience that prepares them for today's scientific and technical world.


Students please come to Room A-1 to sign up and receive your pass if interested in attending this presentation on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 10:30 am. during Pd. 4.

Hey, Seniors!  Come to A-1 to check out the updated scholarship binder before you go out on Spring Break.  You can easily get many of these scholarships done over the Break, and be that much closer to earning money for college.  Some of the new ones are:
