Attention athletes, as of 3/13/2020, any BIIF related event is cancelled or postponed until further notice. This includes practices and matches. Check back here as more information is released. This is in accordance to a similar decision from the HHSAA to suspend all athletic activities statewide due to the rising threat of the COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic.
Hilo High School is accepting applications for Head Football Coach for the 2020-21 school year. All interested applicants can pick up an application packet at Hilo High School's main office or gym office. Deadline to apply is Friday March 27th. Boys Volleyball voluntary conditioning at HHS Gym on February 4 - 6, 2020 from 6:30 PM - 8PM
Official Boys Volleyball Tryouts (for those not participating in a winter sport) on February 10 - 12, 2020 from 6:30PM - 8:30 PM at HHS Gym You must have a current physical and signed acknowledgement form to participate.
The 2020 Boys and Girls Golf Team will be having tryouts starting February 10, 2020 at the Hilo Muni Golf Course. Meet at 3:00 PM. You must have a current physical, golf equipment and green fees. Please call Coach Randy Pak at 934-0049 if you are are planning to tryout.
All Boys & Girls planning to tryout for tennis, you can still sign up with coach Leanne in F-Bldg. Remember, physicals need to be done in order to tryout. Forms can be picked up at the front office if needed. Tryouts will be February 10 -12. Boys start at 3pm and girls at 4pm at the Hilo Intermediate courts. Those currently in another sport that can't make the tryout dates, please let coach Leanne know.
water polo preseason practices have started -Monday through Friday from 5:30 to 7:00 -Saturdays from 8:00-11:00 @ the hilo high pool attire : -one piece (fitted) bathing suit (game suit provided depending on size needed) -latex swimming cap (will be provided) -goggles (optional)
Anyone still interested in volunteering, or becoming a UNIFIED Partner for Hilo High School Special Olympic UNIFIED Program, please come to room N105 to complete forms. First practice will start on Wednesday, January 15th during lunch recess at the track.
Hilo High School Canoe Paddling conditioning will be from Monday, November 4, 2019 to Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM at the Hilo High pool. You must have a current physical on file to participate.
