Good morning Vikings! This is your K-V-I-K-S Morning Bulletin. My name is Ashley and here are your announcements for Tuesday, April 30th, 2019.


Oiwi’E Practice Schedule

Aloha High High School,

If you did not know by now, our ANNUAL `Ōiwi Ē Competition is on Tuesday, May 14th and that date is quickly approaching! This competition is meant to build pride and unity schoolwide and will be judged by distinguished and proud alumni of our Hilo High School. There will also be special guests that are excited to see each classes final presentation. And you never know, there may be a worthwhile performance that you will need to be there to see!


So, to ensure that we are ALL ready, this week, we will have a modified schedule to accommodate whole grade practice sessions through STARS classes. From today, TUESDAY, April 30th through FRIDAY, May 3rd, all students will report to their designated practice areas AFTER the FIRST period of the day.

Schedules are available in all classrooms.


Senior Commitment Day!

Hey Seniors! May 1st is Hilo High School's Senior Commitment Day! Come to the front of B-bldg during lunch recess to share your post-graduation plans (college, military, or work) with the rest of the Viking Ohana. Each senior who shares their plans will receive a Braddah Pop and our warmest Congratulations! All Vikings are encouraged to wear college or military gear to support the seniors on this day. We are so proud of you, Class of 2019!


Hilo High Grad Nite 2019

Seniors! Did you secure your seat for grad nite 2019? if you didn't, please come to Room A16 to turn in your forms and money! You won't want to miss this night of fun and games, fellowship with your classmates, live entertainment, FOOD...FOOD ...and FOOD!..Remember, first 200 students will get an extra commencement ticket. Any questions, please stop by Rm. A16

Hey, Seniors!  Several new scholarships are open for you to apply NOW!  Come to A-1 to check out the scholarship binder. See the Hilo High website for a list of scholarships.


National Honor Society Officer Applications

This announcement is for all class of 2020 current National Honor Society Members. Are you interested in running for an NHS office for next school year? Please see Mrs. Frias in A-1 to pick up an application. Applications are due back to Mrs. Frias by Friday, May 3rd. Voting will take place at our next meeting on May 7th. Let's work together to strengthen Hilo High's NHS Club next year!
