`Ōiwi Ē

It is FINALLY here!  Our 2nd annual `Ōiwi Ē Competition.  Today, we have the great opportunity to showcase our class pride through our unified attire and singing.  Let us all represent our school and our community with this awesome event. Bring your spirit, your positivity and your competitive attitude.  See you all at the gym after period 7. Have a great day!


SENIORS!  Return all books, pay all library fines!

Attention Seniors!  Graduation is soon here!  Now is the time to return all the books you are no longer using to the library, and pay off any fines you may have,

Even if you are not a Senior, please return all books to the library and clear any fines before you leave for summer vacation.  Seniors who wish to walk the line,

please take care of this at the library now!  Thank you.


Picking up Senior Awards

Any seniors who did not attend the Awards Ceremony on Wednesday night can pick up their awards from Mrs. Frias in A-1 during 1st recess, lunch, or after school.  Congratulations, Seniors!

Hey Vikings, want to rep some hilo high merch?  Then support gradnite and purchase this custom Hawaii's Finest Hilo High Shirt! it will be available for $20 from Tuesday May 14th-Thursday May 16th in  A-16 and at our evening May Day Program on May 17th in the New Gym! Come and get it while you can!


2018-2019 Yearbooks

Hey, Vikings! It’s finally that time of year--yearbooks have arrived at Hilo High School! If you pre-ordered a yearbook, you can pick yours up at L-3 on the following days: May 13th for seniors, May 14th for juniors, May 15th for sophomores, and May 16th for freshmen. You must bring your I.D. in order to get your book!  If you didn’t preorder a yearbook, you can buy one for $50 cash only on Friday, May 17th. Have fun signing, Viks!


Summer Driver Education class

Students interested in taking Driver Ed during the month of June, please see Mrs. Yamauchi with permit, in room A-1A.  Space is limited.
