Student Parking
Starting Monday, August 19, 2019, students first come first serve parking will begin to be enforced. If you have not done so please come to the main office to get a student parking application. Any vehicle parked on the Hilo High School Campus without a valid parking permit will be subject to tow, at the registered owner's expense.
PALC SIGNUPS
PALC is accepting students for semester 1 next week, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after school. What's PALC? The Performing Arts Learning Center is an after school theatre program that has been at Hilo High since 1987. Students can earn a half credit per semester while enjoying learning about the lively art of theatre! PALC offers classes in performing and technical stagecraft. You'll participate in engaging, hands-on projects that will entertain hundreds! Registration sessions are August 13 at 3pm, August 14 at 2 pm, and August 15 at 3 pm. You only need to come to one session to register. To find out more, see Ms. Seaquist in the auditorium during any lunch recess and pick up an application form.
Robotics General Member Meeting
There will be a general member meeting Tuesday 8/13/2019 during Lunch, in Room C215. All members including interested members please join us!
COMPETITIVE CHEER TRYOUTS
Hilo High School Competitive Cheer Tryouts will be on August 12 - 16, 2019 in the wrestling room located in the new gym from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm.
A current physical and acknowledgement form is required to tryout.
Art Club Meeting
Hi Vikings, are you creative? Are you interested in exploring and expanding your artistic eye while still helping with community service projects? If so, come join Art Club! Our first meeting will be held in Ms. Eberly's room in BB101 on Tuesday August 13th during lunch Recess. See you there!
Dress Code:
Students who are in violation of the dress code will be given appropriate clothes to wear from the school.. Speaking of clothes, Hilo High is looking for any used or new clothing items to give to students who are in violation of the Dress Code. Shirts, Pants, of all sorts and sizes are welcomed! Clothing can be printed, but it must NOT violate dress code. Please give all donations to either Mr. Vince in A-04 or the Hilo High Main Office.
*Viewer discretion is advised* We will be having Driving and Traffic safety activities at our Welcome Back LOT today, our goal is to promote and raise awareness about eliminating distracted driving. Please come with an open mind ready to learn to really take our message to heart. We can't wait to see your viking spirit this afternoon.
