Today is National Unity Day!

Class of 2021 T-Shirt Orders
Class of 2021, this is our year to
show our spirit and pride.
Letʻs show the school who we really are,
the white and gold panthers!
If you havenʻt purchased a shirt yet
youʻre in luck.
We will be holding another class
t-shirt pre-order until
Friday October 25th in front of the
auditorium during lunch.
If you have misplaced your
pre-order form you can get another one from
the pre-order table!
Shirts are $10.
Teachers and staff are welcomed to
purchase shirts as well.
Field Trip reminders for this week
Students attending the Construction Fair on Thursday, 10/24 - remember the strict dress code required to attend. t-shirts or shirts with sleeves (no tank tops), long pants with no holes, rips, or shreds in them, covered shoes (no sandals, heels, etc). Also, please remove all extraneous jewelry, and it is best to tie long hair up so it is out of your way. For your safety and the safety of others, anyone not adhering to this dress code will not be allowed on the bus.
All Construction Fair attendees should report to the Hilo High bus ramp by 8:10am. Buses are scheduled to leave Hilo High at 8:20am. We will not wait for latecomers.
Students attending the College Fair on Friday, 10/25 - you will be missing lunch on Friday. Please plan accordingly by eating Wiki, or by bringing a home lunch with you that day. You will all report to your pd 4 classes as usual. An announcement will be made to excuse you at 10:30am. Buses will leave Hilo High at 10:45am. We will return to pd 6 around 12:15pm.

Reality Fair
Hello Seniors!
Are you ready for our Reality Fair on Thursday? This will be a great experience for you all so don't miss it.
There will be 3 sessions. Each senior will attend 1 session, depending on the period they have 12th grade English. Each of you will receive a pass indicating the session and time. Please head straight down to the New Gym at the indicated time.
Session 1 will begin at 8:25-10:15am. If you have English 12 during periods 1 or 2, you are in English 100, or you do not have an English class, you are in session 1.
Session 2 will begin at 10:35-12:15pm. If you have English 12 during period 3, 4 or 5 you will be attending session 2.
Lastly, Session 3 begins at 12:45-2:35pm. If you have English 12 during period 6 and 7, you will be attending session 3.

College Credit Opportunity
Attention ALL Vikings! Are you interested in starting to earn College Credits while you are still in high school? Want to earn those college credits FOR FREE?
You're in luck! Hilo High School and Hawaii Community College are offering an AFTER SCHOOL Hawaiian Studies 100 Class during 2nd semester of this school year. Space is limited, so please see Mrs. Frias in A-1 as soon as possible if you are interested.

Viking Band Fundraiser
The Viking Band has launched its
annual fundraiser for Ocean Sushi and
Don's Grill Food Voucher Tickets at
$15 per donation.
They are great as gift cards,
or to treat your family to a meal out.

Hilo High Viking Band! Mahalo!
Japan Club Selling Jamba Juice
Good morning Vikings!
Jamba Juice is being sold at the front of the auditorium for 5 dollars.
They will be available after
school on Mondays and Wednesday’s until
the end of the month.
Come by and purchase a cold, refreshing

Debate Club Meeting
There will be a Debate Club Meeting on Thursday Afternoon from 2:45pm to 4pm. Come to R-13 Mrs. Laliberte’s room afterschool. Thank you!
