Hilo High School believes in finding a responsible way to celebrate the life of Mr. Vincent Pereira. In the past, balloons were released to celebrate life, and there may be others interested in continuing that style of celebration. However, we request that any celebration of life consider environmentally friendly alternatives, other than releasing balloons, in order to have the same effect while minimizing the risk to the environment.
