Hilo High School will soon have a new Principal, following the retirement of long-time incumbent leader, Robert Dircks.
Mrs. Jasmine Urasaki will take the high seat for the Vikings effective February 18, 2020.
A life-long Hilo resident, Mrs. Urasaki began her career in education at Waiakea High School, as a teacher. After earning certification as a school administrator, she served in leadership roles as Vice-Principal of the Waiakea High, and Principal of Hilo Union & Waiakea Elementary Schools.
Our Viking Ohana extends our supreme appreciation to Ms. Erin Williams who has served as our interim principal since January. She continues to lead us with excellence each day.
