Congratulations to Jodi Ortiz, Pressley Domingo, Jasmine Gardner and Nazyrias Brown for placing third in the state at the annual PBS Hawaii Hiki NO Winter Challenge. Two weeks ago, they had four days to come up with a story, film and edit a video, without the help of teachers or advisors. Their video was based off the prompt: The wisdom of elderly made new by the young. This is the first time Hilo High School participated in this video challenge, and placed amongst 20 other schools competing.
