This is your K-V-I-K-S Morning Bulletin. 

My name is Braysha and here are your announcements for Friday April 3rd, 2020.


In case you missed it, the Hilo High School Athletics and Hilo Athletic Committee Steak-fry scheduled for April 19, 2020 has been suspended and will be re-scheduled at a later date.  All purchased tickets will be honored when a new date is set and announced. Thank-you for your cooperation and support.


Today, we would like to answer some frequently asked questions that parents and students have been submitting through phone and [email protected].


These questions are regarding the paper enrichment packets and our methods of communication.

Physical Paper Enrichment Packets

 

Question: When will paper packets be available?

 

Answer: Beginning next week Wednesday on April 8, 2020, and every week after. A time for pickup is to be determined. Please stay tuned to our official website, hilohigh.org and on social media!

 

Question: Will parents/students be notified that a packet is available for pickup at the Hilo High School main office?

 

Answer: We will be using SchoolMessenger to send reminders to parents through phone and email weekly. Packet pickup is designated for Wednesdays only.

Communications

Question: I am not receiving the automated phone calls or emails from Hilo High School

 

Answer: Calls and emails are sent to phone numbers and emails listed for guardians listed on the school emergency card. Please contact the HHS Main Office at (808) 313-5500 to learn how to change contact information.

Grab-and-go breakfast and lunch

 

Starting next week, Hilo Union Elementary will be providing grab-and-go meals. Meals are available to any child who is 18 years or younger, go early as they may run out by the end of the service hour. Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 8am, lunch is served at 11:30am to 12 noon. All meals will be placed in a container with all the meal components. Single-serving portions of milk will also be arranged for easy access.
