My name is Joseph and here are your announcements for Monday April 6th, 2020.
Today, you will be focusing on your periods two, four and six! Please do the assignments sent to you by your teachers and participate in any tele-conferencing opportunity if possible.

We would like to thank you all for participating in the technology readiness survey! With that information, we have determined a list of students who will be receiving enrichment packets in person. Packets were determined based on a student’s access to technology, and also teacher input. If you get a call or email from Hilo High School this week, that means a packet is ready for you to pick up at Hilo High School on Wednesday, April 8. If you did not get a call or email, a pickup is most likely not necessary. For students opting to have the packet mailed home, a call will not be made, rather, please wait for the packet to reach your mailbox.
Packet pickup will be from 8 to 10:30 AM, and again from 2 to 4:30 PM on Wednesday, April 8.
If you do not pick up your packet during the designated times, please do not come to the Hilo High School office. We are not open to the public. We will attempt to get in contact with you.

Grab-and-go breakfast and lunch
This week, Hilo Union Elementary started providing grab-and-go meals. Meals are available to any child who is 18 years or younger, go early as they may run out by the end of the service hour. Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 8am, lunch is served at 11:30am to 12 noon.
If you are watching this before 11:30, lunch today at Hilo Union’s grab-and-go lunch program is Hot Dog and Bun, Seasoned Potato Wedges, Veggie Sticks with Dip, and a Fruit Slush.
Breakfast tomorrow at Hilo Union is Fried Rice, Portugeuse Sausage, Orange Wedges and Power Punch Juice.
