Yesterday’s activity was Throwback Thursday! Thank you to all those who shared their Viking Spirit by dressing up as an elementary school student. Special Thanks to the students who participated in the ‘Guess Who?’ game, and also all those who have submitted their photos!

For “Loyalty and Honor Forever Friday” dress up and show your school spirit by wearing Blue and Gold attire and submit it to the student association email at: [email protected]. You can also submit your reflection videos for extra hero points by 4 PM today.
HERO Store
Have you been wondering why there are still hero point opportunities such as spirit week? Today, we are proud to announce that the Hilo High hero store is now ONLINE! Using your hero points, you can purchase anything from school supplies, face masks, backpacks, slippers, shoes and novelty items! There is NO monetary cost for these items, you can buy them with your hero points! Are you worried that if you spend these points that you won’t have enough to qualify for events in the future? Don’t worry! Event qualifications only look at the total amount of points you have EARNED, not have in your account. So spend those hero points Vikings! As a reminder, each student starts with 30 hero points, so you can purchase something today! Simply go to hilohigh.org/hero and click on the Hero Store link. If you want to check out your balance, follow the tutorial on the website at hilohigh.org/hero. You can also hover over students on the navigation bar, and select Hero Store.
Viking Band Fundraiser
Attention All Vikings! The Hilo High Viking Band is having a fundraiser in partnership with Cafe 100. Every Thursday, for the entire month of October, Cafe 100 will donate a portion of all Loco Moco sales to the Viking Band. Thank you for supporting the Viking Band and local businesses!
Leo Club
Hey Vikings! Are you interested in community service? Leo Club allows students to provide service through projects such as beach cleanups, tutoring, and virtual talk-story sessions with kupuna. Interested students should sign up for the Leo Club Google Classroom. CODE: h5tgpw2
