Yearbook Picture Taking Day
Hey Vikings! Just a reminder that this Saturday, December 5th, is Picture Taking Day on campus! Please go to Reed Takaaze's website to order photo packages at reedtaka.com. Visit the Hilo High website for drive-through times and instructions for Picture Day. Please show your Viking pride and participate!
Virtual Christmas Corners
Just a reminder, the intent form for this year’s Virtual Christmas Corners is closing this Friday, December 4th at 3:00pm. This year's theme is “Holidays at Home”. Fill out the Intent Form at tinyurl.com/HolidaysAtHome2020 and visit the school website for full participation information. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Swtizer or Mr. Yamamoto.
Viking Elf on the Shelf
Have you heard of the Elf on the Shelf? Well, Hilo High has its own version called Viking Elf on the Shelf! Identify where “Bearnard the Viking Elf” is and earn 10 Hero points! Made an incorrect guess? Don’t worry! You will still earn 5 hero points for participating! Bearnard will be on a "shelf" for 4 different days in December beginning today! Take a look at where he is today!
Know where he is? Submit your guesses to [email protected]. Remember to watch the morning bulletin or check instagram for his picture during this month and submit your guesses!
Christmas Cookie Challenge
Let’s kick off this special month with a hero point opportunity, a Christmas Cookie Challenge! December 4th is National Cookie Day and we want all of you to bake your favorite batch of cookies to celebrate the holiday season. Make sure to take a picture of your cookies and send it to the Hilo High School Student Association gmail account in order to get 15 hero points. Happy baking and happy holidays!

Hawaii Community College Application Session
Attention Seniors! This is your last chance to sign up for the Hawaii Community College application session happening on Friday, December 4th @ 1:00pm. Please email Mrs. Frias if you would like to be on the list.
PSAT
Attention students in the 9th, 10th and 11th grade! Planning to take the PSAT this school year? We will be administering the PSAT on Tuesday, January 25, 2021!

ASVAB Testing
Attention Class of 2021 and Class of 2022! The second ASVAB will be administered on Monday, December 7 @ Learning Resource Center (Hilo High School Library). If you are interested in taking the ASVAB please email Ms. Taniguchi at [email protected] to reserve your spot. Due to COVID-19 there are limited available spots so sign up now.
*Face masks will be required to be worn at all times when testing. Failure to comply with COVID-19 safety rules will result in removal from the test room and inability to complete the test.
