Class of 2023 Teapresso Fundraiser

Gear Up Cram Jam
Gear Up Manoa would like to invite the 9th graders to Cram Jam! This event will be held on December 13, 2020, from 4 PM - 7 PM. During this time, 9th graders that need help with last-minute homework questions, test prep, essay readings, and study tips will have access to free tutors that can help them prepare for their final week of school. After the study sessions, students can access virtual Among Us and JackBox TV breakout rooms to play many fun games. Lastly, those that register will be entered into our giveaway! Holiday baking with Mrs. Nakamura
Getting into the holiday mood by learning how to make and bake holiday cookies with Mrs. Nakamura! This is one of the many special events happening in our Viking Wellbeing weeks and we want to encourage our Viking ohana to participate! Counseling Update
The Counseling Department would like to let you know that Ms. Jessica Yamaguchi's last day with us is this TODAY, December 4th. We thank her for all she has done for the students and families in the past year and a half, and wish her the best in her future endeavors. Beginning Monday, December 7th, and for the rest of the school year, Mrs. Kellie Frias will be the counselor for all students with last names G-K. Thank you, Ms. Yamaguchi! We hope to work with you again someday soon! Once a Viking, ALWAYS a Viking!
UH Hilo Decision on the Spot event
Seniors! Do you remember seeing an email from Mrs. Frias about a 2nd opportunity to participate in a UH Hilo Decision on the Spot event? If you haven't applied to UH Hilo yet, you can apply for free this week, and have a brief meeting with a UH Hilo representative next week Tuesday, to get an admissions decision ON THE SPOT. Please email Mrs. Frias if you are interested in participating.
PSAT
Attention students in the 9th, 10th and 11th grade! Planning to take the PSAT this school year? We will be administering the PSAT on Tuesday, January 26, 2021!

ASVAB Testing
Attention Class of 2021 and Class of 2022! The second ASVAB will be administered on Monday, December 7 @ Learning Resource Center (Hilo High School Library). If you are interested in taking the ASVAB please email Ms. Taniguchi at [email protected] to reserve your spot. Due to COVID-19 there are limited available spots so sign up now.
