Aloha Vikings! This is your K-V-I-K-S Morning Bulletin. My name is Ashley and here are your announcements for Tuesday, December 8th, 2020. Today’s schedule is 1-3-5-7.
Registration Reminder
Hey, 9th, 10th, and 11th graders! Please remember to complete and submit your Google Form Registration by this Friday, December 11th. If you do not submit your registration form by December 11th, your classes will be chosen for you, and you will not be allowed to request changes next year. If you have any questions, please email your counselor right away, so we can help you to make the best choices.
Senior Mob Shot
Seniors! Are you ready to take your mob shot? Mob Shot Pictures will be taken on Wednesday, December 9th from 1pm-3pm. If you are driving to campus, please park on Waianuenue and walk through the front gate by the office. Stay 6 feet apart and wear your mask all the way to the library door. If you are being driven, the drop off spot is the makai side of the library. Everyone will exit out the back of the library and walk along the cafeteria sidewalk to the pick up zone, or exit out the gate and back to your car. For detailed directions, visit the Hilo High Website. Remember dress code rules, sign rules, and bring you mask and smile!
Class of 2021 Class Song Nominations
Hey Seniors! Do you want to nominate a song for graduation? Please fill out the google form that was sent to your emails. Nominations are due by December 11th, 2020. Songs need to be school appropriate and should be meaningful or inspirational.
Gear Up Cram Jam
Gear Up Manoa would like to invite the 9th graders to Cram Jam! This event will be held on December 13, 2020, from 4 PM - 7 PM. During this time, 9th graders that need help with last-minute homework questions, test prep, essay readings, and study tips will have access to free tutors that can help them prepare for their final week of school. After the study sessions, students can access virtual Among Us and JackBox TV breakout rooms to play many fun games. Lastly, those that register will be entered into our giveaway! Wellbeing Weeks
As the last few weeks of school are here before winter break, take a moment out of each day to take care of your wellbeing. These next two weeks, Hilo High School and Gear Up Manoa bring to you different virtual events happening every Monday Wednesday and Friday after school. Holiday baking with Mrs. Nakamura
Getting into the holiday mood by learning how to make and bake holiday cookies with Mrs. Nakamura! This is one of the many special events happening in our Viking Wellbeing weeks and we want to encourage our Viking ohana to participate!
