Thank you. This week’s Hawaiian Value of the Week is on point. Hilo High School’s vision is Kulia I Ka Nu’u, or Striving for Excellence. This week is the last week of quarter three Vikings! If you have any incomplete or missing assignments, please work with your teachers to get them done! Part of striving for excellence is knowing when to accept help. We have constantly shared details on virtual tutoring. There is no shame in asking for help, there are people dedicated to helping you so please, take advantage of it.
On screen, you see the Zoom link for Tutoring sessions that are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00-6:00pm and every Sunday from 2:00-4:00pm. No appointment is necessary.
Another resource for ninth graders are Gear Up Manoa tutors. Gear Up Manoa tutoring is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3-6 pm. Visit the link on the screen to enter the tutoring room.
