Hawaii public schools are offering a food program to provide free meals to all students at select campuses that meet specific qualification standards. Hilo High School would like your help to meet those qualifications. This will benefit all students even if they do not qualify for the free or reduced-priced lunch reimbursement.
We request the families with students who are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch to apply for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). The HIDOE is urginig families to apply by May 24, 2021, so that your application may be counted towards helping our school and community become a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) school.
