For East Hawaii, Elias Kainalu Aurello with 1st place, and Mason Bartolome with third place. And Placing 2nd place in the East Hawaii District and FIFTH in the STATE, Dylan Yanazaki. Congratulations to you all, and congratulations especially to Dylan Yanazaki for placing in the TOP 5 in the STATE! Awesome job!
In case you missed it, last night on PBS Hawaii’s HIKI NO program, we learned that our Hilo High School team’s for the 2021 Spring Challenge won an HONORABLE MENTION for their video titled: English Learning Innovations with Mrs. Marino. Congratulations to KVIKS TV members King James Mangoba, Camrenn Cabalar, Pressley Domingo and Tatsuya Koch for placing!
Congratulations also to the 2021 Winter Challenge team members Jasmine Gardner, Mackenzie-Jade Arthur and Jordan Arthur for writing a reflection that aired LAST WEEK on PBS Hawaii’s HIKI NO program. If you are interested in making videos like these, consider joining KVIKS TV next school year!

If you still have a school issued chromebook or mobile hotspot, and if you are not attending summer school, the final day for returning them will be June 2nd, 2021. The Hilo High Technology Department will be accepting them between 10 AM and 4 PM on that day, June 2nd, 2021. If the equipment is not returned, you will be charged as an obligation.
