T: And my name is Tammi. You are watching The KVIKS TV Morning Bulletin. K-V-I-K-S is our school’s broadcasting call sign, and we are very excited to be one of the first to welcome you to our school.
K: Every day at 8:10 AM, your teachers will play this bulletin for you so that you can know what's going on in the Hilo High Community.
T: Here is an example of what you can hear on the morning bulletin. Student Activities, Counseling, Career Opportunities, Athletics, Scholarships and Clubs! Please do your best to pay attention to the stories and announcements presented on our bulletin. However, if you missed any information, John will tell you where to go! John?

K: Here’s what we have planned today. Today during STARS, everyone will be taking a tour of the campus, learn of basic rules, and hear more about our legacy. Teachers and guides will introduce themselves before your tour of the school. When your tour is done you will go back to your STARS classroom to do a Q&A about the campus. The Class of 2025 will go on the tour first, while the Sophomore Class of 2024 goes second.
T: Today, you will attend periods 1-3-5-7. In period 1 we will go over the importance of attendance and review the student and parent handbook. During period 3 you will receive your hilo high school planner and how to use it.
K: During period 5 we will learn more about the extracurriculars, clubs, sports, and activities at our school. And finally during period 7 we will go over the core values of viking pride, and learn the alma mater.
T: Throughout the day, you will be introduced to other important information through lessons and videos. For todays menu, we have Vegetarian Pizza, Green Salad, Baby Carrots, Craisins, and Fresh Fruit.
J: As you go about your day today, remember the Hilo High School vision, Kulia I Ka Nu’u or Striving for Excellence. Hilo High School has a history of excellence, and we try every day to maintain that legacy.
