Leo Club Meeting
Hey Vikings! Are you interested in community service? Leo Club allows students to provide service through projects such as beach cleanups, food drives etc. We are dedicated to providing leadership, and opportunities to serve our community. Meetings will be held on the last Thursday of every month in Ms. Frias’s room, A-18. Interested students should join our Leo Club Google Classroom and our Remind group. The codes are displayed on the screen right now.
Did you know that the Hilo High LEO club is having it’s very own crayon drive? If you have any new or used crayons, feel free to bring them to Ms. Tanaka’s room, A-19. See you there!
Hilo High LGBTQ+ Club Meeting
The Hilo High LGBTQ+ Club will be having a meeting today during lunch recess in Ms. Crowlʻs room, R-21. Anyone is welcome to join at anytime. Bring a friend and letʻs make Hilo High a safe and friendly place for all!

Financial Obligations
Do you have a library or financial obligations? Do you think you MAY have a library or financial obligations? Students who were issued textbooks, chromebooks, or any other loaned items last school year must return those items to the correct department, as soon as possible. Unreturned loaned items from prior school year(s) are considered financial obligations on your student profile, and will prevent students from participating in various school activities.
Students should visit the (LRC) Learning Resource Center before or after school to check if they have library obligations. For general obligations or questions, visit the main office, or call the school at (808)313-5500.
Class of 2025 Class T-Shirt Design
Hey Freshman, If you are interested in designing your class t-shirt, please submit a design to Ms Park in room A-21 by Tuesday, Aug 31. The design must include your class mascot, "Jaguars" and "Class of 2025".... Feel free to come to A-21 if you have any questions. Deadline is Tuesday, August 31.
DECA
Are you interested in business, marketing, and professional networking skills, then DECA is the club for you! Come to an informational meeting on Tuesday August 31, 2021 in Mr. Peralta's room, N102 during lunch. See you there!
Football Players Meeting
Good Morning Athletes! There will be a meeting for all Hilo High School Football Players on Thursday August 26th at lunch recess, grab your lunch and head to the pool area. Meeting will begin at 12:40 PM.

Senior Yearbook Submissions
Aloha Viking Seniors! Have you taken your portrait for the yearbook yet? Have you submitted your quote? Do you have a baby picture to put in as well? Make sure you get all of these things turned into Mrs. Mant by September 1st, 2021. Go to our Hilo High website, hover over students in the navigation bar, then select Yearbook. There is a special form just for seniors.
ASVAB Testing
Attention all 10th through 12th graders, the first ASVAB of the year will be on September 13th, 2021. The test will be in the Learning Resource Center (LRC) If you are planning on joining the military post high school, you will need to take the ASVAB. Contact Mr. Nakasato IMMEDIATELY at [email protected] to reserve your spot. Due to COVID-19 the number of test takers per session have been reduced to 30, act now!
