08/27/2021 KVIKS TV Morning Bulletin

Aloha Vikings! This is your K-V-I-K-S Morning     Bulletin, my name is Dylan, and here are your announcements for Friday August 27th, 2021. The periods today are 2-4-6. Here’s what's happening today.

Viking Christian Athlete Club

There will be an informational meeting today during lunch in M-108, or Mr. Masuyama’s room. This club is open to All Vikings!

Now, Here’s what’s new Vikings!

Attention Vikings, the Reveille will be played Next week Monday | Daily at 8:05AM and it is not to be confused with the tardy bell at the normal time, once again it is not to be confused as the tardy bell at 8:10AM.
As well in the afternoon the Retreat will be played 15min after the end of school bell rings.
Proper etiquette during the morning and afternoon would be to stand and face the flag being raised and lowered, with your right hand on your chest and after it is done being played you may carry on with what you were doing beforehand.
Each ceremony is firmly rooted in military history and provides an opportunity to show respect
to the U.S. flag, country and Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors and Marines from the past and
present who have served their country.

While the sound of the bugle may stop us momentarily from what we are doing, the tradition
and honor that accompanies the music deserve a moment of our time. When you hear the
music, try to remember our veterans and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Financial Obligations

Do you have any library or financial obligations? Are you unsure? Students who were issued textbooks, chromebooks, or any other loaned items last school year must return those items to the correct department, as soon as possible.  Unreturned loaned items from prior school years are considered financial obligations on your student profile, and will prevent you from participating in various school activities.

Students should visit the (LRC) or Learning Resource Center before or after school to check if they have library obligations. Chromebooks and mobile hotspots can be returned to C-117 afterschool only. For general obligations or questions, visit the main office, or call the school at (808)313-5500.
