Aloha Vikings! We hope you had a fun, yet safe Labor Day Weekend. This is your K-V-I-K-S Morning Bulletin, my name is Nazz, and here are your announcements for Tuesday, September 7th, 2021. The periods today are 1-3-5-7

Hilo High School alumni, Isabelle Masuyama from the class of 2021 is featured with Hawai'i Island chefs and Keiki as they partner together and utilize locally grown ingredients to create winning meal combinations. We will visit and hear stories of our local farmers, ranchers, and chefs providing an opportunity to learn about the challenges and rewards of our culture, agriculture and the culinary arts. Here’s what's new Vikings…

Student Bus riders are reminded that valid bus passes are required in order to utilize bus transportation services. Bus drivers have been enforcing this requirement. For questions or concerns with bus passes, please contact the school office.

Also, all students who catch the bus home should be at the bus ramp area within 5-minutes after release time. Unfortunately, bus campus departure times have been inconsistent as adjustments are being made to schedules. In order to be sure that students don't miss the bus, all bus riders should report to the bus ramp as soon as school ends for the day.

United States Army Visitation

Aloha Vikings, members from the United States Army Career Counseling Office will be here Thursday September 9th, 2021, Periods 1,3 and 5. Location will be at LRC. Please sign up in the LRC. They will offer a very in depth briefing on the United States Army and the available opportunities.

Senior Mob Shot

The Class of 2022 will be taking their senior mob shot during lunch on September 17th. Seniors, your sign must be no bigger than 18” by 14” and school appropriate. Seniors participating in the mob shot must wear a black shirt or black class t-shirt. Abide by dress code! Please follow these rules or you cannot be in the senior mob shot. Seniors will have five minutes to walk down to the new gym during lunch on the 17th and must stay 2-3 feet apart while taking the picture. Seniors are advised to eat during the first recess. Viking Store

Hey Vikings! Do you want to purchase Hilo High School Merchs and Braddah Pops? Well you are in luck! Come and Visit our Viking Store on Wednesdays afterschool from 1:15-2:00 pm at room A-14. A variety of Hilo High School Merchs will be available for purchase. There will also be a Braddah Pops for sale for $2.00 and Water for $1.00. Be sure to bring your money if you wish to purchase anything from our Viking store. See you there!
