Here’s what's happening today:


HEY Freshman STARS Reps....Class council meeting TODAY, in Ms Park's room (A-21) at Lunch Recess...SEE YOU THERE!!!


As a reminder, on Monday, September 13, the LRC will be closed all day for ASVAB Testing.  The Hilo High School Credit Union (located in the LRC) will also be closed and will be open for regular business on Tuesday.

WHAT'S NEW ANCHOR:

Mid-Quarter Progress Reports

The Mid-Quarter 1 Progress Reports were given out in period 1 on Tuesday, September 7th and are also loaded onto the Infinite Campus portal.  If you were absent on Tuesday, pick up your printed progress report from Mrs. Lawrence from the LRC.


Senior Mob Shot

The Class of 2022 Senior mob shot has been rescheduled to September 20th during your STARS period. Please report to your STARS class, then you will be escorted to take your individualized photo with Reed Takaaze. As a reminder your sign must be no bigger than 18” by 14” Inches and school appropriate. Seniors participating in the mob shot must wear a black shirt or black class t-shirt.

Abide by dress code! Please follow these rules or you cannot be in the senior mob shot.


NCAA Eligibility Center Registration

There will be a NCAA Eligibility Meeting on Thursday, September 16th, 2021 at 2:30pm in the LRC. Juniors and Seniors who are playing Fall sports, AND are interested in pursuing college-level sports in Division One or Division Two are encouraged to attend.

Contact AD Drummondo or Mrs. Frias via email to sign up in advance to attend.


Senior Parent Night

Attention Seniors! Hilo High will be hosting the Class of 2022 Senior Parent Night on Sept 15, 2021 at 6:00pm LIVE on the Hilo High School YouTube and Facebook pages. We will go over important class and commencement information for this school year.

Attendance will be taken via Google Form to earn a commencement ticket.

This Saturday marks 20 years since the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attack. Tomorrow, our morning bulletin will be extended to include a specially prepared video to remember the events, and honor our first responders.

PSAT/NMSQT Registration

The PSAT/NMSQT is scheduled for Saturday, October 16, 2021. Those who are interested in attending college and taking the SAT should highly consider taking this practice test to better prepare you for the real SAT. 11th graders who qualify for Free/Reduced lunch tests for free. For all others, the test costs $17. To register, fill out the google form at tinyurl.com/1016psat. Spaces are limited, sign up now!


Viking Store

Hey Vikings! Do you want to purchase Hilo High School Merch and Braddah Pops? Well you are in luck! Come and Visit our Viking Store on Wednesdays afterschool from 1:15-2:00 pm at room A-14.  A variety of Hilo High School Merch will be available for purchase. There will also be a Braddah Pops for sale for $2.00 and Water for $1.00.  Be sure to bring your money if you wish to purchase anything from our Viking store. See you there! 


Kaukau Fundraiser

The Class of 2022 will be holding a KauKau Card fundraiser throughout the month of September. KauKau Cards will be sold for $20 throughout the month of September and proceeds will go to the class of 2022. With your KauKau Card, you will be able to receive all kinds of discounts and free goodies from local businesses. You can purchase a KauKau card in front of Ma’s room (A-16) every Monday and Friday during the lunch periods from September 3rd until October 1st. Make sure to tell all of your family and friends and support our seniors! Thank you!
