As a reminder Vikings, this monday, we have a modified bell schedule in support of Hilo High School’s first Elective Scramble! Most classes will be reduced to at least 65 minutes. Your elective scramble schedule will be given to you during your Period 2 class. After first recess, report to your first session directly. Do not go to STARS.

Aloha, Vikings! A representative from Multnomah University in Portland Oregon is coming to Hilo High School Today, Nov 19 @ 11:15am during pd 5. Please see Ms. Lawrence or Ms. Frias in the LRC to sign up for the session and pick up a pass. We hope to see you there!

Japan Club
Konnichiwa Japan Club Members, we have a club meeting on Tuesday, November 23rd during lunch recess in Shehata Sensei’s classroom, R-24. We will discuss our upcoming service project and school event. Hope to see you there!

Canned Food Drive
Hey Vikings! The Hilo High Student Association is doing a canned food drive for Thanksgiving to give back to the community! If you have any cans to donate, you can stop by at Room A-16 during recess and lunch starting November 19 to November 24, 2021. You can earn 10 hero points if you bring in at least three canned goods, and 20 HERO points if you bring in 5 or more! Thank you, and let’s try to give back for this upcoming thanksgiving!
Senior Mob Shot Make-Ups
Aloha Seniors! Last chance for your mob shot photo. Please come up to Mrs. Mant's classroom L-5 during lunch time on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Sign or no sign, we want you to be in the yearbook! Mahalo!
Boys Varsity Soccer
Students who are interested in participating in boys soccer for School Year 2021-22, there will be an informational video in regards to the requirements, and expectations to participate. In addition, there will be basic information in regards to the Varsity season. Unfortunately, there will be no JV season at this time. All students will only be trying out for Varsity Soccer. Volunteer Wrestling Strength Training
Volunteer Wrestling Strength Training 3:30-5:30 PM every Tuesday and Thursday followed by Wrestling Techniques and Drills 5:30 - 7:00 PM. Location will be Hilo HS old gym. You will need to show proof of full vaccination, and /or exemption along with negative COVID test results within 72hours of every practice. Leo Club Card Project
Attention all LEOs! As you may know, we have a thank you card project in progress that will be sent directly to the HIDOE district workers at the annex to thank and honor them for their continued service to the schools in our community.
