K-POP, also known as Korean Pop is a music genre that originated in South Korea in the 1990s. Throughout the years it has been slowly building into a global phenomenon. The popularity of the genre first cracked in the U.S. in 2012, when the hit “Gangnam Style” was released by the popular K-POP artist PSY. The unique visuals and style in the music video is what began the huge rise in the industry. Today, K-POP is now an open topic all over the world.
HEY! Are you a huge fan of BTS or Blackpink? Or just love to listen to KPOP in general? This Friday, on December 3rd, there will be a KPOP random dance rally during lunch.
