Spectator Policy For Athletic Events Effective March 26, 2022

HILO HIGH SCHOOL SPECTATOR POLICY FOR ATHLETIC EVENTS

Hilo High School will allow full spectators to any Hilo High School hosted athletic event based on the capacity limits of the event’s venue.

 

Face Masks are generally not required at outdoor events, however, social distancing to the extent possible is encouraged.

 

Face Masks that cover the mouth and nose ARE required for all indoor sporting events. This requirement continues beyond March 25, 2022 and shall remain in effect until further notice.


Reminders:

  • Outside food and drinks are not allowed, with the exception of water.
  • Reentry into the event is typically not allowed once a spectator leaves.
  • Concessions may or may not be available for spectators, depending on the event.
  • Coolers and Tents are NOT Allowed in the Hilo High School Gymnasium, or at any outdoor event.

Let the Players play.

Let the Coaches coach.

Let the Officials officiate.

 

All state, county regulations and laws, as well as all Hawaii Department of Education and Hilo High School Policies shall be followed by all event attendees at all times.  Violations to such regulations or this policy may result in the removal of spectator(s) from the event or other pertinent actions determined by school administration or law enforcement.
