Hey Viks! Do you want to help our local foster kids? Well this is your time! You can donate any new or gently used school supplies, new hygiene products and or new stuffed animals and toys on March 29th - 30th to Mrs. Blair's room, A-02B at lunch. You could change a kid's life! Thank you.


Interviewer: What is the purpose of this event?

Interviewee: Explain the purpose like a human. For the foster kids… Make life good!


Interviewer: How does one get involved in this event?

Interviewee: Make sure they explain what to donate, where to donate it, (Mrs. Blair’s Room A02-B) and when the project is (March 29th &30th).

Class of 2022 Seniors, Prom Packet Pickup and Payments will be held throughout this week, March 28th to April 1st. We can't wait to share our "Last Dance" together as a class!

You heard that right, ANY Loco Mocoʻs between 7am and 7pm and help support the class of 2024! So, come and buy some delicious Loco Mocos to enjoy. Thank you!

Hey Vikings! St. Martin's University, located in Lacey, Washington, will be visiting Hilo High School. To see their presentation on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 8:30 am during Pd. 2, come to the LRC during recess or lunch to sign up. Hope to see you there!


St. Martins University is a private liberal arts university located in Lacey, Washington near the stateʻs capital city of Olympia. This Roman Catholic university has a wide range of opportunities and programs ranging from liberal arts majors to engineering programs as well as a Division II athletics. Those interested in a university with a small, tight-knit campus community, affordable tuition, and a diverse student body, pick up a pass in the LRC to see their presentation come Wednesday April 20th, 2022 during Period 2. We hope to see you at the presentation.



Host:  Are you ready to have a part-time job? Here's how you can get some hands-on training in customer service.

 Ms. Taniguchi and Mrs. Frias are inviting 12 students to participate in this semester's session of Old Navy ON-Ward Field Trip on April 9th and 10th.  Participants must be available for both days.  Please see Mrs. Frias in the LRC to pick up a field trip form and for more information.  Remember that only 12 students can participate in this opportunity, so see Mrs. Frias ASAP if you’re interested.

Are you interested in learning more about Early Childhood Education?  Hawaii Community College's Early Childhood Education department will be at Hilo High on Friday, April 1st during pd 4 at 10:45am.  Please come to the LRC to sign up for the session and pick up a pass.  We hope to see you there!
