Host: Seniors! Here is what to expect at your “Last Dance” together Senior Prom!


[VIDEO] Senior Prom Packet Pickup

What can we expect at Senior Prom? Are students excited? Ask Mikailee or Chloe to interview a committee member to discuss details on the senior prom, remind others about the packet pickup. Interview a few students on their plans or excitement for Senior Prom.


Host: Student Election Packets are still available for pick up, KVIKS Media Interviewed Mikailee Palmerston, Class of 2022 President to share more details on Class Council.


[VIDEO] Why Get Involved With Student Leadership?


Host: Pick up a student leadership application packet at room A-16 during lunch from March 21 to Apr 1, 2022. The deadline for all applications is April 1st. Share your voice, lead, inspire and make a difference Vikings!


Host: Are you planning on a career in Early Childhood Education, well here is how you can learn more about it!

HCC's Early Childhood Education Department is visiting on Friday, create a video on what Early Childhood Education is, and share event details.


Host: If you like working with young children, then consider going to the visitation. Finally, here is more information on the University of St. Martins.


[VIDEO] St. Martins University

Hey Vikings! St. Martin's University, located in Lacey, Washington, will be visiting Hilo High School. To see their presentation on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 8:30 am during Pd. 2, come to the LRC during recess or lunch to sign up. Hope to see you there!


St. Martins University is a private liberal arts university located in Lacey, Washington near the stateʻs capital city of Olympia. This Roman Catholic university has a wide range of opportunities and programs ranging from liberal arts majors to engineering programs as well as a Division II athletics. Those interested in a university with a small, tight-knit campus community, affordable tuition, and a diverse student body, pick up a pass in the LRC to see their presentation come Wednesday April 20th, 2022 during Period 2. We hope to see you at the presentation.

Host: Temporary Senior Song Practice Locations

On Monday, April 4th, all Seniors will report to the following locations for Senior Song Practice at the start of first recess. Senior Girls will report to the Auditorium and Senior Boys to the Pool.

[VIDEO] Old Navy ON-Ward Field Trip

 Ms. Taniguchi and Mrs. Frias are inviting 12 students to participate in this semester's session of Old Navy ON-Ward Field Trip on April 9th and 10th.  Participants must be available for both days.  Please see Mrs. Frias in the LRC to pick up a field trip form and for more information.  Remember that only 12 students can participate in this opportunity, so see Mrs. Frias ASAP if you’re interested.

Are you interested in learning more about Early Childhood Education?  Hawaii Community College's Early Childhood Education department will be at Hilo High on Friday, April 1st during pd 4 at 10:45am.  Please come to the LRC to sign up for the session and pick up a pass.  We hope to see you there!

This week in viking athletics:

Wednesday March 30th, Softball at Keaau 3pm, Boys volleyball vs. Kona at 5pm and Golf at Waikoloa Village at 10 am. On Friday April 1st, Tennis at Waiakea 2pm. Saturday April 2nd,  track at HPA 9am, baseball vs keaau 10am, Judo at Hilo High 1030am, tennis vs kealakehe at 2 pm, and waterpolo at KSH 230 pm.
