Hilo High School Class of 2022 Graduates may pick up their official high school diplomas at Hilo High School on:
- Wednesday, June 15: 10am - 12pm
- Thursday, June 16: 12pm - 2pm
Please be advised that Hawaii County contractors continue to do roadwork on Waianuenue Avenue, during which, the main entrance and track gates to the campus remain closed to all traffic. Traffic is detoured at Laimana Street.
To enter the campus:
- Head down Waianuenue Avenue from Komohana Street toward Hilo Bay
- Take a left turn into the uppermost gate near the metals shops
- Follow the traffic flow as indicated and drive with extreme caution
Due to summer school being in session, diploma distributions will be done in front of our school cafeteria. Please park and head over to the distribution table along the covered walkway. Drive up service will not be available in order to ease the expected traffic in the area.
Allow extra time in your schedule to transact diploma pick ups due to traffic delays. Please remember to bring a picture ID. Please also understand that Class of 2022 volunteers are assisting with this event, therefore, if you miss the set pick up times, please await notices from our school on when and how to obtain diplomas outside of these scheduled times.
