PRE-ROLL: Message from Principal Urasaki

Aloha Vikings, this is Mrs. Urasaki, your Principal. This is an important message from everyone, so please, pay attention. This is in relation to last week's negative events at Hilo High School. Let me inform you that we will not take any sort of violence lightly. We need to take a strong stance on this. Zero tolerance to violence. Which could mean serious discipline, up to 20 days suspension along with a police report. Your purpose here at Hilo High School is to be amazing students, learning everything you can. Developing the skills you need to be successful for life beyond high school. Our theme this year is Viking Diversity, Paints Our Future. How does last week's events support this? It doesn't! We all need to embrace our diversity that makes us unique in a positive way, not a negative way and never ever, through violence. Let's all work to do better. Remember, Viking Diversity, Paints Our Future. Live it.
