Environmental Agencies of Change
Aloha Environmental Agents of Change members! There will be a club meeting on Tuesday, September, 20, 2022 during lunch time in C-217 (Ms. Ramangmou’s room) and if you can’t make it there will be a makeup session after school. Please bring your completed forms and club fees with you. We will be going over our first activity happening soon, and future events. Spirit Week is NEXT WEEK!!! If you are interested in being apart of the Junior Class Teams and participating in Friendly and Fun Competition, Please stop by Mrs. Potter's room, R22 during Recess or Lunch This week! We will also be having a team meeting on Thursday, September 22 in Rm. C127! If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Potter or any class officer! Thank you!
Viking Band
Aloha Vikings! Do you like Cafe 100? Do you like loco mocos? Well on Tuesday September 20th, Cafe 100 will be donating a portion of their loco moco sales to our Viking Band Boosters Club, so show your support by ordering a loco moco from Cafe 100! Be sure to tell the cashier that you're a Viking Band supporter so that a part of their loco moco sales are donated!
Class of 2023
Seniors, don’t forget that the Mob Shot will be happening TODAY during your STARS class. We will head down to the new gym and take our picture the old fashioned way, in the bleachers. Make sure to bring your poster, you’re in dress code attire, and no contraband on your poster. You must be present to be in the photo. Mahalo!!

We have a few reminders, please don’t forget to turn in your Club Dues and T-shirt orders, As well as for the Japanese Curry Cooking event in order to attend the event on September 23rd you must have turned in your club dues of $5 by the event. College and Career Visitations
Next week, we have two colleges coming to visit Hilo High School!
On Tuesday, September 20 Grand Canyon University will be visiting during period 3
And on Thursday, September 22 - UH Hilo will be holding a FREE Application Session during periods 5 and 7.
Please see Mrs. Frias in N-103 to sign up for any session you are interested in and get a pass.

[SPOT] PSAT/NMSQT Testing
PSAT/NMSQT Registration
The PSAT/NMSQT is scheduled for Saturday, October 15, 2022.
Those who are 9th-11th grade, interested in attending college and taking the SAT should highly consider taking this practice test to better prepare you for the real SAT.
11th graders who qualify for Free/Reduced lunch tests are free.
For all others, the test costs $18.

Blood Bank of Hawaii
Blood Bank of Hawaii is visiting Hilo for a Blood Drive on September 20, 21, & 22.
Adult volunteers are needed for blood donations. Students over the age of 16 are welcome to donate. Due to Covid-19 restrictions and safety protocols, we will not have an on-campus Blood Drive this year. Please make sure to schedule your appointment by phone at (808) 848-4770 or online at www.bbh.org, since no walk-ins will be allowed.
