Class of 2023 Senior Prom Committee
Seniors! Interested in helping to plan your senior prom? The prom committee's first meeting will be held TODAY, November 1st during lunch recess at room R24. Hope to see you there!

KVIKS Media General Meeting
Yo, yo, yo KVIKS Media members, we have a FULL season of LIVE SPORTS COVERAGE coming up. To get started, join us for our General Meeting THIS THURSDAY in C-215 during lunch. If you want lunch picked up for you, reserve it via the assignment on Google Classroom. Please order your lunch by WEDNESDAY, PERIOD 4.
Girls Basketball Tryouts
Hey Vikings! Are you interested in playing for our Girls Basketball team? Girls Basketball tryouts are TODAY, November 1st, and Thursday, November 3, at the New Gym starting at 6:00 PM. Be sure you have your Physical Form completed and turned in to the athletic trainers. See you on the court! If you have any questions please call AD K. Drummondo at 808-313-5600. All forms can be downloaded on the athletics page of our website.
Hilo High Swim Team
If you are interested in swimming for the Hilo High School Swim Team? Tryouts will be held on November 4, 2022. Every Tuesday and Thursday until that day, there will be technique sessions hosted from 3 - 4 PM at the pool. No club swim experience required.
This week for College and Career Visitations:
Tomorrow, November 2, 2022 the Northern Arizona University will be visiting during period 2.
Also, tomorrow, Cal Poly San Louise Obizpo will be visiting during period 4.
Lastly, on Friday, November 4, 2022 the UH Manoa College Opportunities Program will be visiting during period 3.
If you are interested in any of these sessions, please see Mrs. Frias in N-103 to sign up and get a pass.

Scholastic Art and Writing Awards
Hey creative Vikings! Are you interested in award and scholarship opportunities? The Scholastic Art & Writing awards are open for submissions. The deadline to submit is December 15th, 2022. Go to artandwriting.org for submission guidelines or see Ms. Z in room L-4 for assistance.
ASVAB Testing
All 10th-12th graders, the next ASVAB administration is on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022. The test will be administered in the Learning Resource Center and will start promptly at 8:10 AM. If you are planning on joining the military post-high school, you will need to take the ASVAB. Email Ms. Arquero at [email protected] to reserve your spot.
Due to COVID-19, the number of test-takers per session has been reduced to 30.
The LRC will be closed all morning on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022 to accommodate the test and reopen during lunch.
