Thanksgiving Rally
Hey Vikings! The season of giving is on its way so join us at our thanksgiving rally TODAY, November 23rd. We will be having a rally in front of the auditorium during lunch. We will be having a pie-eating contest and fun games. If you're interested in playing in any of these games please sign up at room A-16. Hope to see you all there and happy thanksgiving!

There will be an important General Meeting TODAY, November 23rd during lunch recess in C-217 (Ms. R’s room). We will be going over our upcoming fundraiser, guest speaker visitation, and end of the semester event! Senior Luau
Attention seniors, our time is coming to an end and senior luau is almost here. There will be a sign up for senior luau on Tuesday, November 29 to Thursday, December 1st during lunch time in Mrs. Naukana’s room N-101. If you are interested in planning and helping out during senior luau make sure to stop by and sign up. For those who have already signed up during collection fees, Mrs. Naukana will be sending out an email to you. Hope to see you there!!

The Hilo High School Viking band is having a fundraiser every Wednesday in the month of November. Kozmic Kones will donate $1 to the Viking band for every Chicken Katsu Plate bought. So come to Kozmic Cones TODAY to support the Viking Band!

Hey Vikings! This is a reminder that if you picked up a Winter Ball packet, be sure to get your forms signed. Next week will be the start of payment and forms collection at F-building during lunch. We can’t wait for you to join us for a Midnight Magic!

If you think you got the answer to todayʻs nīnau, submit your answer in 2 ways. 1-go to the QR code to submit your answer or 2-go to K101 to submit a written response directly to Kumu ʻAwa by the end of lunch recess TODAY.
The names with the correct answers will be combined and 2 names will be chosen randomly to win a bento at Mondayʻs Lā Kūʻkoʻa rally. So, get it in quickly.

Hey Vikings! This is just a reminder that if you picked up a packet to decorate a Christmas Corner/Area, please turn it into Mr. Yamamoto's room, R13, by Monday, November 28th. If you weren’t able to pick one up, don’t worry, you can still grab one from there as well, thank you!
Canned Food Basket
Happy season of giving! In honor of this season, we will be having a canned food basket donation. The basket to donate will be located outside of room A-16 this whole week. If you plan on donating, please be sure to check the expiration date. Our goal is to reach 500 canned goods by the end date. If the goal is met, our special guest will get pied in their face! Hope to see you all donating!

Hey creative Vikings! Are you interested in award and scholarship opportunities? The Scholastic Art & Writing awards are open for submissions. The deadline to submit is December 15th, 2022. Go to artandwriting.org for submission guidelines or see Ms. Z in room L-4 for assistance.
[SPOT] ASVAB Testing
All 10th-12th graders, the next ASVAB administration is on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022. The test will be administered in the Learning Resource Center and will start promptly at 8:10 AM. If you are planning on joining the military post-high school, you will need to take the ASVAB. Email Ms. Arquero at [email protected] to reserve your spot. Due to COVID-19, the number of test-takers per session has been reduced to 30. The LRC will be closed all morning on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022 to accommodate the test and reopen during lunch.
